Sorry? I really don't understand what you mean here. Are you saying that it would be more appropriate and easier to understand if people said "15%ench" to mean "Damage +15% while enchanted"?

To me, that would mean, "Enchantments you cast last 15% longer."

When rangers go all up-close to you to use an interrupt and still miss. It's funny, but it's annoying when they walk up to you.

Some of my pet peeves:

Someone already mentioned Koss - add Melonni, Dunkoro, and Zhed to my list. Having to use them for anything is annoying.

Beggers

Loiterers - Players who park their characters right next to the storage chests or portals and have them dance for hours or just stand there on display.

Documented glitches, bugs, or flaws in the game that have never been fixed. Instead, let's tweak the game so low level players can get to Eye of the North. Then they can beg for help getting there.

Yup, those all work. With the possible exception of 15ench, which I'd most likely take to mean enchantments last 15% longer.

Females and offspring of other races not being represented...centaurs, dwarves, charr, and the like. There are a few Asura, I suppose (creepy C.H.U.D.-bunnies), but nothing else. Charr females and dwarven females I guess might appear as the males do: especially since female dwarves are reported to be bearded. I just think the lack of gender equity removes a small degree of suspended reality.

Also, I hate when people pick a variation on a name for their characters because they really want a character named C H uck Nor Ris , or Ill Chuck Norris Ill. Two reasons: looks stupid and makes it hard to type for joining a party...which I won't do anyway because of the stupid name.

Lastly...people who don't know the difference between then and than. I understand people will misspell things from time to time, (my spelling is pretty bad) but the then/than thing is chronic...

THEN: indicates time --> I will meet you at Lion's Arch. Then, we will get naked and dance.

THAN: Indicates comparison --> Chuck Norris has bigger testicles than a dolyak. It is easier to farm charr carvings while drunk on hunter's ale than it is to farm while drunk IRL.

People who misspell names, just so they can use a name which 3 BILLION other people have. An example:

A/Mo : "Naruto Reeperr" (No idea if this is a real person, just an example)

Also, Assassins who use "Naruto", Dervishes who use "Reaper" and Necromancer's who use "Dark" in their name. For goodness sake, quit being so damn conformist >.>

Also people who say 'than' and 'then' incorrectly, people who spend 10 minutes trying to swear at you around the curse filter instead of developing the ability to disable the thing and people who use texting-language (ie: cn sum1 help me wit a quest??????? wisper me!!!!!)

You mean the entire GW population? Seriously, besides my brother, I have never seen a single player type properly in the game, ever. I understand why people do this for texting, but on a computer it's incomphrensible. It's quicker to type normally, than it is to use "short hand", plus it's just plain ugly and difficult to read. It should be outlawed.

I agree that a majority of people do that, but you've really never seen anyone in game talk normally? I talk exactly how I talk on a forum. It's not even like the "omg u nub sotp ur hax!" crowd can type any faster than someone who's a decent typist.

The lack of female Charr actually has a lore-based explanation. It was part of the Movement of the World article, I believe...

And one of Ogden's idle quotes is "How do you know you haven't already met a female dwarf? Eh? Eh?", I'm guessing female dwarves just look pretty much the same as the male ones...

People who dont use the weapon that goes with thier profession.

e.g. dagger wielding dervishes, thumpers, pack hunters, scythe/dagger wielding rangers, scythe wielding sins and warriors, dagger weilding warriors, dagger wielding eles, IW mesmers or any IW character, asscasters, Spirit Strength rits (its sad that this is one of the best ways for a rit to be good, Spirit Spam ftl)

Casters with +5e swords, axes or spears dont count cause they dont use them to do damage.

When you make someone an offer on something they're selling, and they say "wait" like they're considering, managing other offers, or referencing price check, then never bother to get back to you with so much as a "nty" or "sold it already".

Undyable sections of armor that aren't a neutral shade. Like http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Dervish_Monument_armor or http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Ritualist_Norn_armor.

People who hook up with you for that mission/bonus you've been advertising, get the bonus, then leave with no warning. Or get their cap if it's Glint's cavern and then leave.

People who see you in 15k armor and think you have a bunch of extra money or items they can have. I'm nice enough to occasionally give away materials or useful weapons to low-level/new players, but if you ask, you'll never get anything.

Anyone who starts talking all kinds of grand teenager crap about things they don't understand. You just know they got their opinions about from the paper or that OMFGEDGY internet forum they're on. If you know what you're saying, that's great. If you don't, stop telling local all about the Middle East, Bu$hitler, organized religion, etc.

People who repeatedly invite themselves into my party when I haven't even put out a LFG. I might be going for cartographer. Or farming a green. Or testing builds. Who said you could come? :P

Although mostly I'm annoyed the people who invite themselves, I reject, they invite again, I reject, they do it a third time, and then I go "Look, I didn't want you in my party the first, second, or third time you asked. What makes you think I'll change my mind the fourth, fifth, or hundredth?" Bonus points if they're any of the "unpopular" classes.
